Who is the Hero of Ages?

To end the Final Empire and restore freedom, Vin killed the Lord Ruler. But as a result, the Deepness---the lethal form of the ubiquitous mists---is back, along with increasingly heavy ashfalls and ever more powerful earthquakes. Humanity appears to be doomed.

Having escaped death at the climax of The Well of Ascension only by becoming a Mistborn himself, Emperor Elend Venture hopes to find clues left behind by the Lord Ruler that will allow him to save the world. Vin is consumed with guilt at having been tricked into releasing the mystic force known as Ruin from the Well. Ruin wants to end the world, and its near omniscience and ability to warp reality make stopping it seem impossible. She can’t even discuss it with Elend lest Ruin learn their plans!

The conclusion of the Mistborn trilogy fulfills all the promise of the first two books. Revelations abound, connections rooted in early chapters of the series click into place, and surprises, as satisfying as they are stunning, blossom like fireworks to dazzle and delight. It all leads up to a finale unmatched for originality and audacity that will leave readers rubbing their eyes in wonder, as if awaking from an amazing dream.

Absolutely Great by Jason (Posted on 8/26/2018)
The end is here for the first story arc of Mistborn. And I really like how it ends. I thought how it ends was pretty creative and was definitely planned from the beginning. It's not necessarily a surprise ending but it a very good one. It also has one more and final big battle. Great end to a great series (or at least arc). The performance was great (voice acting, sound effects, and music)
Best ever by Ryan (Posted on 6/1/2018)
This is the best ever ending to a series. I literally stood up and clapped! That was after being mind blown to the core
Great series up till now, The next books are basically westerns by Raymond (Posted on 9/20/2017)
I loved this series all parts up till this one, the next 2 books are basically westerns with gun fights and such and they cut back on the sci-fi element of the metals manipulation that was different then real life. They still have some powers but have diluted it to having only half the power of one metal a push or a pull for any one person and most of the battles are gun fights and it really disappointed me, I purchased 2-5 as set, I won't be purchasing 6 or later, I'm not interested in westerns, I like more sci-fi.
Ruined for Reading by Odis0 (Posted on 6/13/2017)
Mr. Sanderson is a master of his craft, and sends his characters off in style! This story is fantastic, and I can't imagine experiencing it in anything other than Graphic Audio.

If you like this book, you'll love the next book: The Alloy of Law. I think I like it even better, and the actors do an amazing job!
Mistborn by Scott (Posted on 1/24/2017)
This is a truly unique series. The world that it is set in is deep and well thought out. I really enjoy the "powers" that is portrayed through this series. Very different from anything else I have read or listened to before. If you do anything today, make sure that you start listening to this series if you have not already. It is just as addictive as any drug out there.
Mistborn trilogy by Arthur (Posted on 10/16/2016)
This was my first graphicaudio book and I loved it. It was a great book and I couldn't wait to listen to all of it.
The final payoff to the World of Ash by John (Posted on 9/28/2016)
Truly remarkable how close it came to Ruin it all did. Down to the wire. Tension so thick it could choke you. I love the suspense and music and the voice acting. Marvelously executed and sensationally satisfying.

Must read book, after the previous 2 parts naturally.

The interludes that precede each chapter reveal so much and I had to much fun with the great moments of revelation about Hemalurgy and the truths about the Lord Ruler. An amazing fun read that brought the reader some much needed explanation and satisfaction that was left at the end of Well of Ascension.

Truly a fantastic book and Graphic Audio does it well and makes the simplistic Audible experience quite lackluster. Not to besmirch the name of Michael Kramer at all, mind you.

Get this book and have all the insights and secrets about the World of Ash revealed at long last.

I wish that Graphic Audio could work faster on the Brandon Sanderson works. If only you could put out your products at the same time (or nearly the same time) as Audible/Amazon, your business proceeds would see significant gains. I am sure of it. Given the opportunity to buy an Audible or Graphic Audio book on release day.....Graphic Audio wins it, hands down. Of course you would just need access to the book beforehand just like Audible/Amazon does. I am sure this will happen one day. I await that day happily.

Thanks heroes and voices and engineers all. Well done. Money well spent.
Breathtaking conclusion to a breathtaking trilogy by Amy (Posted on 8/24/2016)
Woq. That was absolutely, utterly, phenomenal. Such a wonderful conclusion to the first Mistborn trilogy. There are no words. Everything was simply perfect. I cannot wait to continue to book 4.
Good ending by Steven (Posted on 8/14/2016)

epic series by Lionel (Posted on 6/6/2016)
Even though I've read this series around 4x, Graphic Audio does a wonderful job of bringing back those emotions that come out near the end of this masterpiece. Just buy it already!
A Fantastically Strong Ending by Cassiopeia (Posted on 5/5/2016)
With her external relationships taken care of and her internal struggles mostly assuaged, Vin takes a backseat in this story in deference to Emperor Elend Venture. Thoroughly changed from who he was, Elend is struggling to find out who he is and that makes for a far more interesting discovery than Vin's apparent ease with everything she attempts. Elend's struggles feel real and strongly emotional, with much of that due to his fabulous voice actor, and I felt neither cheated nor disappointed by the character's rise to heroism. This isn't the same Elend from the first story and yet, at the same time, it is. Combining Brandon Sanderson's fabulous storytelling with GraphicAudio's unparalleled team, The Hero of Ages is definitely worth the price.
Wow... Just wow!! by William (Posted on 3/14/2016)

Graphic Audio at its very best! by Helgi Gunnar (Posted on 10/23/2015)
The climax of this story was so intense that it left me completely stunned. The Graphic Audio presentation of the story is just fantastic. In my opinion, The Hero of Ages is the best book in the series, and that is saying something.

GraphicAudio's Masterpiece by Bryant (Posted on 4/5/2015)
This series was already one of the best of it's generation in my eyes, and GraphicAudio made a masterpiece of an audio performance - easily the best series I've listened to by this company. Huge thanks for sticking with it - anyone who is torn, give the first book a try. You won't be disappointed; great writing backed up by a stellar performance.
Great ending for a great trilogy by Thomas (Posted on 4/5/2015)
Brandon Sanderson should be proud, GraphicAudio did an incredible job bringing his trilogy to life.

This was an entertaining ride the whole way through. Every installment was worth the wait, and the finale was wonderful. I hope GraphicAudio does more of Brandon's work in the future.

Five headphones and Snickers bar.
Nice Final! by Patrick (Posted on 3/28/2015)
After some 60 hours+ we now find us at the end of the last book of the first Mistborn trilogy. I hope Graphic Audio will do the second Trilogy as well when it's finished!

The cast made a good job all the way to the finish line and I give some huge bonus points to Brandon Sanderson for being so good at wrapping up all loose ends.

It has been a wonderful and engaging ride and I can't wait for more. I find this to be storytelling at its best. A vast and wonderful universe that keeps getting more and more intriguing. The characters are well voiced and the GA treatment is superb as usual. Simply exquisite.
