Rogue Angel
41 : Staff of Judea

by Alex Archer
Aug 1, 2013
5 Hours
Ages 13+
After decoding an ancient scroll—one that purports to pinpoint the treasure of the Jewish Temple, lost for two thousand years—archaeologist Annja Creed agrees to lead the party to recover the find in Judea. It’s a perilous desert journey through sandstorms and bandits, and complicated by mysterious sabotage within the group, to arrive at a long-forgotten fortress deep beneath a mountain. Only then does Annja discover that this archaeological expedition is really one man’s quest for the mystical Staff of Aaron, one of the Bible’s holiest and most powerful relics—a weapon they say can do incalculable harm in the hands of the wrong individual. She must try everything humanly possible to prevent the staff from being used for selfish purposes. Even if it puts her in the mightiest battle yet—sword against staff.

History, action, adventure, what more can you ask for. Great story! Roux being part of the story adds to the appeal and excitement. Garrin always brings his style to the story as well. Wonderful book.
Rogue Angel and The Staff of Judea by Michael (Posted on 12/12/2016)
The story is classic Alex Archer, well thatched and fast moving. Graphic Audio once again did an excellent job editing and engineering sound for the work. I hate to say it but some of the original score did not seem to fit. Otherwise a well told movie in my mind!
Riveting! by Sharon (Posted on 10/14/2016)
This story kept me on the edge of my listening seat! I found myself mimicking Annja's actions as she maneuvered through this story. I love Annja's interactions with Roux and this one was not disappointing. Good read!
Staff Of Judea by Susan (Posted on 2/12/2016)
This is the one that got me hooked on this Rogue Angel series. I love, love love Roux and Garren. We know that Anja will always get away and live, but its the in between that excites and brings you back for more. I am on the 15th in the series and they just keep getting better. I could see that staff in the hand of her older friend as he wielded it. ;-)
Indiana Jones...Please Annja Creed can beat you anytime by Daniel (Posted on 6/7/2015)
Nanette Savard, Colleen Delany,
The number one Ladies of Graphic Audio (in my humble opinion). THEY have ruined me for any other Audiobooks.

Annja Creed doesn't always look for trouble sometimes it finds her and see just dives right in. Annja is not a stupid woman and she can do snark and sarcasm with the best of them. I love the journey that she takes it is a good story one of my top favorites. I love the history that is told and discussed. Even if it is fictional they make it plausible.

Awesomeness by Jermane (Posted on 1/12/2014)
This title was really interesting; I really enjoyed the history that went with this story. As always, I love having Roux in the story as well as Garan it's just really cool to see them playing off of each other.
Awesome again. by Wayne (Posted on 12/29/2013)
I had waited awhile to listen this one because I was on other stuff but finally got back to the Rogue Angel series and was not disappointed with this one. The only gripe I have with these books are the constant use of GPS trackers. You never have to worry about annja or anybody getting away they always and I mean always have a gps tracker attached to them or something they are carrying. Otherwise this was a good story. I typically like anything that has roux and garrin with her in it.
This Series Has Ruined Me by Jermane (Posted on 12/20/2013)
This audio book series has ruined me for the paperback series. I can't read the actual book because I keep hearing the actors voices when I read; hell I hear Nanette Savard narrating. Don't get me wrong that is not a bad thing, because now I have gotten my grandmother and my mother are into these books and now she asks me if you guys have a new story out please keep up the good work!!!

Love the historical and biblical tie ins. Thanks for the wonderful stories!!
Review by Johnny Tai (Posted on 8/19/2013)
This one is really well written and well executed, with a balance mix of action, historical facts and mystic elements. The villains are convincing, and the mystical undertone of the story makes the illogical deathtraps more believeable. The only issue I see with this installment is that Anja seems too quick when calling upon her sword--especially since she wishes to keep it a secret... Over all, it is one of the better episodes in this adventure series, and well worth the read.
